Backstory:
Mealy Villa is a mesmerizing band that originated from the obscure streets of Dublin, Ireland. It was formed by four high-school mates, Liam O’Reilly, Patrick Donahue, Sean Gallagher, and Conor Murphy, who shared a common love for music and a desire to express their thoughts and emotions through their instruments. What started as jamming sessions in the basement of Liam’s house, turned into a journey of creating music that touched many hearts. After winning a local battle of the bands, they decided to take their talent more seriously and Mealy Villa was born.
The band got their breakthrough after performing in a local pub where their unique sound caught the attention of a regional record producer. Their debut album, ‘Under the Emerald Sky’, was a hit amongst the local crowd and soon their fame started spreading across the Irish sea into the UK and eventually, around the world. Mealy Villa has become synonymous with raw, real, and resonating music that transcends boundaries.
