Backstory:
Stained Statement, a band that was formed in 2011, consists of five members: lead vocalist Shawn Anderson, guitarist Pete Williams, bassist Paul Thompson, drummer Kevin Ross, and keyboardist Alex Hamilton. Each member’s journey into music started individually; they were all friends from high school who shared a love for music but pursued different paths. However, their passion for music brought them together during a local open mic night. They decided to join forces and create something unique – hence, Stained Statement was born. Shawn’s soulful voice, Pete’s fiery riffs, Paul’s steady bass, Kevin’s complex beats, and Alex’s layered synths came together to create a sound that was both powerful and emotionally resonant. Their music speaks volumes about individuality, being true to oneself, and standing against societal norms.
