Sparkling End

Backstory:
Sparkling End was born out of the dusty garages of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2012. The band is composed of three childhood friends – Jessica “Jess” Darrow (lead vocals and guitar), Steven “Steve” Lamont (drums), and Brandon “Brand” Walker (bass and backing vocals). After high school, the trio decided to take their shared passion for music from idle jamming to a full-time endeavor. Drawing from their shared experiences, they crafted a sound that’s unique and genuine. Struggling through initial hardships, their tenacity and the rare cohesion of their music led them to secure a deal with a local record label in 2014. Since then, Sparkling End has been a consistent presence in the music charts, resonating with audiences far and wide.

Title:
“Fragmented Rainbow”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Underneath the fractured sky, [D] we used to dream and laugh.
[Em] We painted rainbows with our words, [C] lost in our photographs.
[G] Youth was like a fleeting ghost, [D] slipping through our hands,
[Em] As the sun began to set, [C] we built castles in the sands.

(Chorus)
[G] Oh, the fragmented rainbow, [D] colors in the night,
[Em] Echoes of our whispers, [C] in the fading light.
[G] We were dreamers, believers, [D] stars in our eyes,
[Em] Look for us in the twilight, [C] under the southern skies.

(Verse 2)
[G] Shadows grew, the light turned dim, [D] dreams began to wane,
[Em] We held on to each other, [C] shelter in the rain.
[G] Life, it turned a bitter sweet, [D] echoes in the breeze,
[Em] But we danced through the storm, [C] just as the heart pleases.

Band’s Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan is Lily Matthews. She’s been with us since the very beginning, attending our gigs when we were just another local band. Her support has been unwavering, and her enthusiasm infectious. She once told us:

“Sparkling End’s music is my sanctuary. It’s raw and real, speaking directly to my soul. I see myself in their lyrics, feel seen in their melodies. They’ve been with me through my highs and lows, their songs a constant companion. For me, they’re more than a band. They’re like close friends who understand me without words. And that’s why Sparkling End is my favorite.”
