Backstory:
Beneficial Rose was formed in the heart of New York in 2011 by vocalist, Alice Clarke, and guitarist, Ethan Woods. Both were struggling solo artists who met at a small open mic night in a local cafe and quickly bonded over their shared love for music and their frustrations with the competitive music industry. They decided to join forces and form Beneficial Rose, a band that emphasized the importance of friendship, personal growth, and above all, the sheer joy of creating music. Bassist, David Ray, and drummer, Sophia Quinn, joined later after responding to a local ad seeking musician collaborators, and the band was complete. Despite various hardships and trials, Beneficial Rose’s unique sound and uplifting message quickly garnered them a loyal fanbase, and they’ve been making waves on the indie scene ever since.

Favorite Fan Testimonial:
My name is Sarah Johnson – known among the Beneficial Rose fandom as ‘Sunset Sarah’. The reason I love Beneficial Rose so much is simple: their music speaks to me. Whenever I’m feeling low or anxious, their songs lift me up and inspire me. They remind me that it’s okay to be imperfect, and that there’s beauty in the struggle. Their undying spirit of friendship and unity is something I deeply admire. I’ve been following them since their early days and they’ve never once lost their authenticity. They’re not just a band to me, they’re family.
