Dear Criticism was born from the creative minds of childhood friends, Peter Jones and Alex Thompson, in the heart of San Francisco. The duo started writing music in their garages, combining their distinct musical influences and tastes. Their journey of self-expression through music began in high school, where they discovered their shared passion for songwriting. They started performing in local cafes and bars, slowly gaining a local following. From humble beginnings, the duo stayed true to themselves, creating music that reflected their shared experiences, fears, and hopes.
