Pleasant Forest

Backstory:
Pleasant Forest, an indie folk band, was formed in the sunshine state of Florida in 2013. The band was the brainchild of childhood friends, Ethan Graves and Oliver Smith, who shared the love of music from an early age. Their shared interests in nature and storytelling became the inspiration for their band name and lyrical themes. In their early days, they would perform impromptu concerts in local parks which gained them a local following. They got their big break when a talent scout happened to walk by one of these performances, leading to their first record deal.

Song Title:
“Whispers in the Wind”

Full Song Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Em C G D
In the land where the willow trees sway,
Em C G D
I found a place where my heart can stay.
Em C G D
Underneath the stars that shine so bright,
Em C G D
Is where I heal in the pale moonlight.

[Chorus]
G D Em C
Whispers in the wind,
G D Em C
Tell me where to go.
G D Em C
Guiding me through the wilderness,
G D Em C
Where the rivers flow.

[Verse 2]
Em C G D
Through the leaves, hear the nightingale’s song,
Em C G D
Echoing in the air, all night long.
Em C G D
In this peaceful forest, I am free,
Em C G D
In the pleasant forest, I find me.

[Chorus]
G D Em C
Whispers in the wind,
G D Em C
Lead me to my home.
G D Em C
In the heart of the wilderness,
G D Em C
I am never alone.
