Mild Price

Backstory:
Mild Price originated in the bustling city of Chicago, where four friends from high school decided to take their shared passion for music to the next level. Initially, jamming in their parents’ garages, their united front of unique sounds and harmonies soon grabbed the attention of their local community. Their first taste of success came from winning a local Battle of the Bands competition, which gave them the confidence and funds to record their first demo.

Across the next few years, Mild Price began to gain momentum, traveling around the Midwest and performing at a variety of venues. Their dedication and passion for music, as well as their ability to connect with audiences through their deeply emotional lyrics, helped them make a name for themselves within the music industry.

Title:
“Ripples in the Rain”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse)
[C] Sitting on the porch, [Am] under the old willow tree
[F] Watching the raindrops, [G] as they dance carefree
[C] Your face in my mind, [Am] a sweet memory
[F] How we used to be, [G] wild and free.

(Chorus)
[C] Ripples in the rain, [Am] remind me of our love
[F] Just like the sky, [G] vast and above
[C] Love like a river, [Am] flowing wild and free
[F] Just you and me, [G] under the old willow tree.

(Verse)
[C] Promises we made, [Am] sealed with a kiss
[F] Now it’s just echoes, [G] that I reminisce
[C] The world has moved on, [Am] but I am still here
[F] Holding onto our love, [G] that was so dear.

(Chorus)
[C] Ripples in the rain, [Am] remind me of our love
[F] Just like the sky, [G] vast and above
[C] Love like a river, [Am] flowing wild and free
[F] Just you and me, [G] under the old willow tree.

(Coda)
[C] As I watch the rain, [Am] I feel you near
[F] In every ripple, [G] I see you clear
[C] Even though you’re gone, [Am] you’re here with me
[F] Just us two, [G] and the old willow tree.
