Backstory:
Formed in the heart of Detroit’s underground music scene, Lopsided Canal has quickly made a name for themselves as pioneers in their genre. The band was born from the meeting of three charismatic personalities – drummer Jerry “The Pulse” Newman, bassist Sam “The Groove” McIntyre, and frontman and guitarist Liam “Sonic Boom” Gallagher in the year 2014. The trio found common ground in their shared passion for music that defies expectations and challenges the mainstream. They started jamming in Jerry’s basement, bonding over late-night writing sessions and a shared vision of creating music that would inspire and electrify.

After a few months of hard work and honing their sound, Lopsided Canal began playing in local bars and clubs where their raw energy and unique sound quickly captivated the audience. Soon, they found themselves at the forefront of Detroit’s bustling music scene. Their determination and unique sound started attracting attention beyond their local scene, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Their biggest and most loving fan is a woman named Rosie Thompson. Rosie discovered Lopsided Canal at a local Detroit bar and was immediately captivated by their sound.
