Dental Turn started performing in small local gigs, and their unique sound quickly gained them a loyal following. They signed their first record deal in 2004, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Genre:
Dental Turn found their muse in the realm of Alternative Rock, with a unique blend of grunge influences and punk undertones. Their music reflects their everyday lives, filled with the realities of being dentists during the day and rocking their hearts out on stage during the night.

Song Title:
“Root Canal Blues”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
(Am) Woke up this morning on the wrong side of the bed
(Dm) Got a throbbing pain pulsating in my head
(G) It’s not a normal headache, no, it’s something far more cruel,
(Am) I’ve got those damn, devastating root canal blues.

[Chorus]
(Dm) Root canal blues, (G) oh, the pain I can’t refuse
(Am) Doctor, doctor, (E) can’t you see?
(F) I’m down on my knees, (G) begging please,
(Am) Save me from these root canal blues.

[Verse 2]
(Am) Drill in my mouth, white light in my eyes
(Dm) This ain’t a place for a sweet lullaby
(G) I’ve got a hole in my heart, and one in my tooth too
(Am) Suffering from the merciless root canal blues.

[Repeat Chorus]

[Bridge]
(F) Doctor, doctor, with your tools so fine
(G) Can’t you give me something, to ease my troubled mind?
(Am) I’m a man on the edge, with a lot to lose
(E) I can’t escape these tormenting root canal blues.

[Repeat Chorus]

Fan’s Name and Testimonial:
“Their biggest fan? That’s me, Jessica Hays. Ever since I first heard Dental Turn at a local bar in Seattle, I was hooked. I loved their alternative rock sound blending with those grunge and punk undertones. It was something refreshing and authentic. I’ve been to every concert they’ve had in the city since then. Their song, “Root Canal Blues,” is a personal favorite. It perfectly captures life’s everyday frustrations. Dental Turn is my favorite band because their music is raw and real. They make dentistry sound cool, and that’s something I never thought I’d say!”
