Backstory:
Expensive Unit is a band born from the streets of the resurgent city of Detroit. The band was formed in the late 2000s by four childhood friends – Jay, Peter, Rachel, and Mike – who were passionate about using music as an outlet to express their views and experiences. They started out by playing at local bars and cafes, and as their popularity grew, they began to get noticed by music producers and record labels.
