Backstory:
Kindhearted Spot was formed in the tranquil corners of Birmingham, Alabama, in the late spring of 2015. The core members, childhood friends Barry Thompson (lead vocalist) and Luke Henderson (guitarist), found themselves drawn to music as an escape from the mundanity of their office jobs. They started off playing in the cozy confines of their basements, their music reflecting the simplicity of their roots and the depth of their experiences. When bassist Meredith Parker and drummer Alex Rogers joined them in 2016, Kindhearted Spot was officially formed, and they started performing in local pubs, their music resonating with the audiences and earning them a loyal fan base.

Being a local band, they used their experiences and the essence of their city to create a musical experience that was both intimate and relatable. Their breakthrough came in 2018 when they were signed by ‘Melodic Wave Records’. The band continues to charm its audiences with their soulful lyrics and soothing melodies, their sound embodying the tranquility and heartiness of their humble beginnings.
