Backstory:
Impure Fact was born in the humid basements of Greenville, South Carolina in 2012. The band is composed of childhood friends Nick Harrison on lead vocals and guitar, Matt Roberts on bass, and Sarah Logan on drums. Initially, they spent their time covering grunge classics in their garage before realizing their shared interest in electronic music. They began experimenting with synthesizers and drum machines, merging their love for grunge and electronic music, which created a distinctive sound that quickly gained them local buzz.
Their passion and drive led them to record their first EP in 2013, which, surprisingly, caught the attention of a prominent indie label. From then on, they have toured extensively, opened for big-name acts, and even played at renowned music festivals.
Genre: Electronic Grunge
Title: “The Unseen Echo”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am (Em)
In this empty room, we hear the unseen echo,
G (Dm)
Circling the walls, it talks about tomorrow.
Am (Em)
Darkness has its melody, the light is just a hollow,
G (Dm)
We’re dancing on the edge, where fear and hope follow.
(Chorus)
C (G)
Don’t close your eyes, feel the unseen echo,
Am (Em)
It’s the song of the lost, looking for the morrow.
G (Dm)
In Impure Fact’s world, there’s no shallow,
C (G)
Only deep dives into the heart’s marrow.
(Verse 2)
Am (Em)
We’re made of dust and dreams, in the unseen echo,
G (Dm)
Screaming our truths, harder than the bravado.
Am (Em)
Grunge meets the electronica, it’s our manifesto,
G (Dm)
We’re impure in facts, but pure in our sorrow.
(Chorus)
C (G)
Don’t close your ears, to the unseen echo,
Am (Em)
It’s the rhythm of the real, it’s our tomorrow.
G (Dm)
In Impure Fact’s melody, there’s no shadow,
C (G)
Only bright light that will make you follow.
