Backstory:
Lopsided Trip, a band that started its journey in the boisterous city of Seattle, found its roots in the basement of an old apartment building. Its members, Keith on vocals, Leonard on guitar, Stan on bass, and Alex on drums, were all college roommates trying to pass time amidst the monotony of academic life. Their shared fascination for music, combined with the boredom of their regular lives, led to the formation of a band that soon took the local music scene by storm. The name ‘Lopsided Trip’ was inspired by their own journey, which they believed was off-balance, unexpected but exciting.

Title:
“Rusted Strings”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
C G Am F
Under the city lights, I found my weary soul,
C G Am F
Lost in this maze, searching for a goal.
C G Am F
Rusted strings on my guitar, memories of a forgotten star,
C G Am F
In this lopsided trip, we’ve traveled so far.
(Chorus)
C G Am F
Through the cracks and seams, we find our dreams,
C G Am F
In the echoes of our silent screams.
C G Am F
Rusted strings, and broken wings,
C G Am F
In this lopsided trip, we’ve become kings.
(Verse 2)
C G Am F
Smoky halls, and graffiti walls,
C G Am F
In this game of life, we’ve had our falls.
C G Am F
From the basement to the stage, turning a new page,
C G Am F
In this lopsided trip, we’re the rage.
(Chorus)
C G Am F
Through the cracks and seams, we find our dreams,
C G Am F
In the echoes of our silent screams.
C G Am F
Rusted strings, and broken wings,
C G Am F
In this lopsided trip, we’ve become kings.

Testimonial: “I’ve been following Lopsided Trip since their early days in the basement. Their music resonates with me on a personal level. The raw and intense emotions they pour into each song are incredibly moving. ‘Rusted Strings’ particularly struck a chord with me. It’s a reflection of struggle, passion, and the undying spirit of dreaming. Lopsided Trip is my favorite band because they make me believe in the power of dreams and the beauty of journeys, no matter how lopsided they might be.”
