Beautiful Stairs

Backstory:
Beautiful Stairs came to life in 2013 when four childhood friends from Duluth, Minnesota decided to turn their love for music into a full-fledged career. The friends, lead vocalist Nathan, guitarist Theo, drummer Max, and bassist Owen, had spent their teenage years jamming in basements and garages, their passion for music only growing stronger with time. Their shared experiences from high school heartbreaks, college struggles, and the thrill of adulthood formed the backbone of their lyrics, while their love for alternative rock served as the foundation of their music.

Title: “Echoes on the Landing”

Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em-C-G-D
(Em) When I think about the (C) old days,
(G) Running up and down the (D) stairs,
(Em) Your laughter filling (C) airways,
(G) Now, it’s just a memory that (D) blares.

[Chorus]
Em-C-G-D
(Em) Echoes on the landing, (C) Love that was commanding,
(G) We were so understanding, (D) Not just a love that was standing.

[Verse 2]
Em-C-G-D
(Em) The hardwood feels so (C) cold now,
(G) Shadows dancing in the (D) dark,
(Em) I’m left with just your (C) echo,
(G) An imprint of our love (D) spark.

[Chorus]
Em-C-G-D
(Em) Echoes on the landing, (C) Love that was commanding,
(G) We were so understanding, (D) Not just a love that was standing.

[Outro]
Em-C-G-D
