Gruesome Eggnog

Backstory:

Gruesome Eggnog was formed in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts during the late fall of 2006. The band was the result of a chance meeting between lead vocalist, Billy “Scrambled” Malone, and drummer, JD “Sunny Side” O’Rourke, at a local bar’s open mic night. Their shared love for alternative music and Christmas-themed humor led to a unique combination that later became the soul of Gruesome Eggnog. They were later joined by bassist Mikey “Hard-Boiled” Townsend and guitarist, “Poached” Pete Sullivan, and made their way from playing at local watering holes to packed music halls across the nation, all while maintaining their offbeat, festive charm. Their music is best described as a fusion of alternative rock with a sprinkle of punk, all tied together with an unorthodox holiday theme.

Fan’s Name: Tommy “Eggnog Enthusiast” Fitzgerald

“Gruesome Eggnog has been a part of my life since their early days in Boston. Their unique fusion of rock, punk, and holiday cheer is something truly special. I’ve followed them across the country, and regardless of the venue or crowd, they never fail to put on a show that leaves me feeling festive and full of yuletide spirit. Their song ‘Mistletoe Misfits’ is a Christmas anthem that, in my opinion, should be heard all year round. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of raising a glass of eggnog and singing along with them at the top of my lungs. Gruesome Eggnog is more than just a band to me. They are a holiday tradition.”
