Backstory:

Powerless Authority was conceptualized in a dingy garage in downtown New York City in the bitter winter of 2012. It was a collective of four childhood friends – Max Simons on vocals, Andy Jackson on the drums, Daniel Richards on the bass guitar, and Matt Carter, the lead guitarist. All of them were driven by the same force – a burning desire to express their shared disillusionment with societal norms, political systems, and the human condition at large.

Years of jamming together and participating in local music festivals led them to their breakthrough in 2014, when their track, ‘No More’, went viral on an independent music-sharing platform. It was a turning point, and there was no looking back. They were catapulted into the limelight, and Powerless Authority became the beacon for individuals seeking an alternative narrative to the mainstream.
