Backstory:
Nifty Minority, a rock band from the heart of Brooklyn, New York, burst onto the music scene in 2013. The band consists of four members: lead singer and guitarist Jack Roberts, bassist Tony Colton, drummer Jerry Matthews, and keyboardist Sam Fischer. Jack, Tony, and Jerry were childhood friends who shared a love for music, and Sam, who moved to Brooklyn from Ohio, became the final piece of the puzzle. They were a group of misfits who felt like they never quite fit in, and they found solace in their shared experiences and love for music. Their band name, Nifty Minority, comes from their belief that they are part of a ‘nifty’ group of people who do not fit societal norms but are instead creatively different and unique.

Title:
“Shadows on the Wall”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G D Am
Walking down the lonely street, no direction in my feet
G D Am
Just a heart that’s full of beats, shadows on the wall
G D Am
Memories start to replay, in my mind, they sway and sway
G D Am
Can’t run from them, no getaway, shadows on the wall
(Chorus)
C G D Em
Shadows on the wall, they’re watching as I fall
C G D Em
Into a world, where memories call, shadows on the wall
(Verse 2)
Am G D Am
In the night, they come alive, with old stories, they dive
G D Am
Reminding me of the drive, shadows on the wall
G D Am
They whisper in the silence, tales of love and defiance
G D Am
Through the pain, they form an alliance, shadows on the wall
(Chorus)
C G D Em
Shadows on the wall, they’re watching as I fall
C G D Em
Into a world, where memories call, shadows on the wall
Bridge:
F C G Am
In the darkness, they’re my light, guiding me through every fight
F C G Am
They’re my sun in the endless night, shadows on the wall
(Chorus)
C G D Em
Shadows on the wall, they’re watching as I fall
C G D Em
Into a world, where memories call, shadows on the wall
(Outro)
Am G D Am
As I walk into the dawn, the shadows start to yawn

In my heart, they’re forever drawn, shadows on the wall
