Backstory:
Golden Objection was formed in 2011, in the vibrant city of Seattle. The band consisted of four members who met in high school and bonded over their shared love for music. The line-up included Kelly “Kellz” Morrison playing the drums, Alex “Guitar Guru” Thompson, Brian “Bass Beast” Hughes, and the charismatic lead vocalist, Emily “Em” Adams. They began their musical journey playing in small, local gigs, but their unique sound and captivating stage presence quickly caught everyone’s attention. Their big break came in 2015 when they were discovered by a major record label at one of their shows.
The name ‘Golden Objection’ represents the band’s stubborn, revolutionary spirit as they continuously push against the norm and strive to create a unique sound. Their music challenges the status quo, raising objection against societal constraints, which is symbolized by the ‘Golden’ in their name.

“Midnight Revelations”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G D E
Walking down these deserted streets, oh
Am G D E
Lost in thoughts, in midnight’s sweet throes.
Am G D E
My heart’s strumming a lonely beat, oh
Am G D E
Echoing tales of love and woes.
(Chorus)
C D G E
Midnight revelations, under constellation’s glow
C D G E
In the silence, finding answers I didn’t know
C D G E
Golden objections, rising high like a crow
C D G E
Breaking through the darkness with my hope’s glow.
(Verse 2)
Am G D E
In the shadows, my dreams dance, oh
Am G D E
To the rhythm of the moon’s romance.
Am G D E
Under the stars, I take my stance, oh
Am G D E
Ready to give my fate a chance.
(Repeat Chorus)

Testimonial:
“I’ve been a fan of Golden Objection since their early days. Their music resonates with me on a deep level. It’s not just the lyrics or the melody, it’s the feelings they evoke. I feel like they understand the struggles we all go through – the confusion, the heartbreak, the constant battle within ourselves. Their song, ‘Midnight Revelations,’ spoke to me the most. It captured the essence of finding hope in darkness, something I was struggling with at the time. I’ve been to all their concerts in my city and each time, it’s a spiritual experience. They’re not just my favorite band musically, but they’ve made a significant impact on my life.”
