Backstory:
Formal Profile is a four-piece ensemble that originated in the heart of Boston and has been making waves in the indie music scene ever since. The band was formed in 2012 when four university friends decided to combine their different musical backgrounds into one cohesive sound. The band members include lead vocalist and guitarist, Jack Thompson, drummer, Cody Harris, bassist, Dylan Michaels, and pianist, Richard Wells. Despite their seemingly different musical backgrounds, ranging from classical to punk, the members of Formal Profile managed to create a unique and harmonious blend of music that resonates with a diverse audience.

The band gained significant recognition after winning a local Battle of the Bands competition. Their experimental sound drew attention from local radio stations and music festival organizers. With a growing fanbase and their music reaching a wider audience, Formal Profile is proving that they are a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
