Sad Spot

Backstory:
Sad Spot emerged from the shadows of the bustling underground music scene of New York City in 2010. The band’s members, guitarist Jake ‘Fingers’ Marron, drummer Casey ‘Skull’ Bailey, bassist Nick ‘Nebula’ Doyle, and frontman vocalist Leo ‘Lionheart’ Flynn, were all seasoned musicians who found common ground in their shared love of introspective and emotionally charged music. Their journey was not easy, having battled their fair share of personal tragedies and industry politics. However, their shared passion for music and their unyielding determination helped them rise above the trials, crafting a sound that was both unique and heartrending.

Title:
“Ocean of Echoes”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
G C E A
I walk alone, through the city of stone,
G C E A
Where the lights are bright, but I feel so alone,
G C E A
In this crowd, I’m a face unknown,
G C E A
An echo in the ocean, a meaningless tone.

(Chorus)
D E F C
I’m just a sad spot in the canvas of time,
D E F C
In the ocean of echoes, lost in the rhyme,
D E F C
Washed away, by the waves that chime,
D E F C
I’m just a sad spot, in the grand design.

(Verse 2)
G C E A
I’ve seen the sun, I’ve seen the rain,
G C E A
Felt the joy, drowned in the pain,
G C E A
In the race of life, I’ve missed the train,
G C E A
In the ocean of echoes, I remain.

(Chorus)
D E F C
I’m just a sad spot in the canvas of time,
D E F C
In the ocean of echoes, lost in the rhyme,
D E F C
Washed away, by the waves that chime,
D E F C
I’m just a sad spot, in the grand design.
