Best Truck

Backstory:
Best Truck is a fun-loving, energy-packed four-man band hailing from the small town of Jasper, Alabama. The band was formed by childhood friends Billy and Rob, who found refuge in music from their monotonous life as truck drivers. One day, they stumbled upon a run-down barn that was decked out with vintage musical instruments. That’s when they decided to chase their dream of becoming rockstars. Joined later by college buddies Tom and Hank, they named their band Best Truck, an ode to their deep-rooted trucker lifestyle.

Title:
“Wheels and Wings”

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1 (C – Em – Dm – G)
She’s my good old truck, my pride and joy
Riding through the dust, ain’t no decoy
Got my wheels on the ground, eyes on the sky
Chasing the sun, ain’t got no tie

Chorus (F – C – G)
Wheels and wings, dreams and things
Just a trucker singing his heart in strings
Through the highs and the lows, rain or shine
Best damn truck, you’re truly mine

Verse 2 (C – Em – Dm – G)
Highways and dirt roads, been through them all
With my trusty truck, I stand tall
She’s my buddy, my mate, my trusted kin
Through the storms, thick and thin

Chorus (F – C – G)
Wheels and wings, dreams and things
Just a trucker singing his heart in strings
Through the trials and the miles, come what may
Best damn truck, we’re on our way

Testimonial:
“Best Truck isn’t just a band, it’s a lifeline for truckers like me. Their music speaks to me; it’s like they’ve been in my cab, seen what I’ve seen, lived what I’ve lived. Their song ‘Wheels and Wings’ is my anthem. Every time I hit a rough patch, I play it loud. Reminds me of why I do what I do. It’s more than music, it’s a trucker’s spirit in a song.” – Joe “Big Rig” Perkins.
