Backstory:
Third Intervention was formed in the sun-soaked streets of Los Angeles, California, in 2009, initially as an experiment by childhood friends and long-time music enthusiasts, Ryan Martinez (lead vocals, guitar), Jake Harrington (drums), and Miranda Cooper (bass). The trio, inspired by the rich musical history of the city and their shared love for earth-shattering melodies, decided to take their casual jam sessions to a professional level. Their name, Third Intervention, was inspired by the trio’s shared struggle and subsequent recovery from substance abuse, symbolizing the transformative power of music as their own third intervention.
