Corny Mail

Backstory:
Corny Mail, a high school garage band, was born in the small town of Popcorn, Nebraska. Four friends, who bonded over their shared love of music and corn-related puns, came together in a small garage to create what they believed was a refreshing take on music. They started as nothing more than a fun project, but with every gig they played, their popularity grew. From playing at school events to opening for bigger bands, Corny Mail experienced a rise that they had only dreamed of. Their comedy-infused music and unique aesthetic quickly captured the hearts of fans, and they became the town’s beloved oddballs very quickly.

Title:
“Kernel of Love”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em G
I saw you in the cornfield, under the moon
C D
All dolled up, oh you made my heart swoon
Em G
Your eyes were shining, like stars above
C D
I knew then, you’re my kernel of love

[Chorus]
G D
Oh Kernel of Love, don’t you see
Em C
It’s you and me, in endless spree
G D
Lost in the corn maze, just us two
Em C
Kernel of Love, my love so true

[Verse 2]
Em G
The cornstalks sway, as we dance away
C D
Under the moonlight, till the break of day
Em G
Corn husks our carpet, under the star’s glow
C D
Just me and my kernel, swaying slow

[Chorus]
G D
Oh Kernel of Love, in this sea of gold
Em C
Our love story, the greatest ever told
G D
In the heartland, where the corn grows
Em C
Kernel of Love, our love story flows

Testimony:
“Corny Mail? Oh they’re just simply the best! I’ve been a fan since their very first school gig. Their combination of punk-pop music with comedy is just something you don’t see every day. Their song ‘Kernel of Love’ is my absolute favorite; it’s funny yet so sweet, just like them. Every time I hear that song, I can’t help but sing along. It reminds me of the essence of our small town and the simplicity of love. Honestly, with their music, it feels like home. I’ve seen them grow from a small garage band to town celebrities, and it’s been nothing short of magical. Corny Mail is, and will always be, my favorite band.”
