Backstory:
Born out of the vibrant music scene in Seattle in early 2000s, Dimpled Volume is the brainchild of childhood friends, lead guitarist and vocalist, Joel McKenzie, and drummer, Anthony ‘Tony’ Davidson. Inspired by late-night garage jam sessions, the two decided to turn their love for music into a full-fledged band, recruiting classmate and bass guitar virtuoso, Ethan Cromwell and keyboard player, Emily Jones. With a shared passion for meaningful lyrics and innovative melodies, the quartet sought to create music that resonated with their generation and reflected the nuances of life.

Evolving from their initial garage band beginnings, Dimpled Volume began to gain momentum within Seattle’s underground music scene. The band’s indomitable spirit and unyielding dedication to their craft soon attracted the attention of local music producers and industry insiders. The band’s steady rise to fame was met with critical acclaim after their breakout performance at the famed Seattle Music Festival.
