Conscious Drink

Backstory:

Born out of the dynamic beatnik quarters of San Francisco in the late 90s, Conscious Drink is the brainchild of four friends – Steven ‘Raven’ Moore, Leah ‘Phoenix’ Griffin, Mickey ‘Koala’ Davies, and Richard ‘Bison’ Grant. Fueled by their passion for music and a desire to challenge the status quo, they found common ground in their interest in consciousness, spirituality, and the vast expanse of the human mind. Their music became a cocktail of their shared philosophies, hence the name ‘Conscious Drink’.

The band members met during their university days, with each of them having distinct music preferences ranging from grunge rock to experimental jazz. Leah, the vocalist, was an active part of the local jazz scene whereas Richard and Mickey were part of a garage-rock band. Steven was a loner, an abstract artist, and a self-taught drummer. They started jamming together, blending their eclectic influences into a unique sound. They gained local fame by playing gigs at college events and local bars before finally breaking into the mainstream music scene.
