Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Underneath the harvest moon, [C] where the cornfield whispers tune,
[D] You and I, we danced away, [G] lost in the heartland symphony.
[G] I can still taste that sweet July, [C] when the stars painted the sky,
[D] But the echoes faded away, [G] left us in a memory.
(Chorus)
[G] Sing me a harvest moon serenade, [C] under the endless sky,
[D] Where love is the only thing we made, [G] under the Nebraska sky.
[G] Sing me a harvest moon serenade, [C] let the night wind carry,
[D] The echoes of our heartland parade, [G] in the melody of the prairie.
(Verse 2)
[G] In the rustling of the crops, [C] we found our rhythm, found our tops,
[D] Life was simple, love was kind, [G] in the canvas of our mind.
[G] The seasons came and seasons left, [C] but our love never bereft,
[D] And the echoes never stray, [G] they play in my heart today.

“I’ve followed Melodic Crop since their early days playing at county fairs. Their sound just connects with me on a level that I can’t explain. The honesty in their lyrics, and the raw emotion in their performances, it’s just so real. When I listen to ‘Harvest Moon Serenade,’ I can almost feel the warmth of a Nebraska summer night. It’s like a love letter to the place I call home. For me, Melodic Crop isn’t just a band. They’re a part of my life.”
