Title:
“Rain on the Sidewalk”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am Em G D
Rain on the sidewalk, footprints washed away
Am Em G D
Lost in the city, in the break of day
Am Em G D
Under the streetlight, shadows dance and sway
Am Em G D
Waiting for something, or someone to stay
(Chorus)
C G Am Em
In the thick atmosphere, where dreams come alive
C G Am Em
Where the night whispers secrets, under the city’s dive
C G Am Em
In the thick atmosphere, we learn to thrive
C G Am Em
In the thick atmosphere, we feel alive
(Verse 2)
Am Em G D
Through the fogged windows, a world in gray
Am Em G D
Strangers passing, going their own way
Am Em G D
In the thick atmosphere, we choose to stay
Am Em G D
Walking on whispers, in the light of day
(Chorus)
C G Am Em
In the thick atmosphere, where dreams come alive
C G Am Em
Where the night whispers secrets, under the city’s dive
C G Am Em
In the thick atmosphere, we learn to thrive
C G Am Em
In the thick atmosphere, we feel alive
