Backstory:
Focused Sympathy began as the union of two college roommates, Jack Finley and Bryan Adams, who found common ground in their passion for music while attending the University of California, Los Angeles. Jack, an accomplished guitarist, was studying music production, while Bryan, a talented vocalist and songwriter, pursued creative writing. The synergy between the two was undeniable. They began performing at local bars and campus events, impressing audiences with their heartfelt songs and distinctive sound. In 2015, they added drummer Lisa Torres, bassist Mark Owens, and keyboardist Jenny Harper to the lineup, creating the full sound that has become their signature.
