Backstory:
Puny Offer is a peculiar assembly of four lifelong friends from the bustling town of Asheville, North Carolina. The band members – Neal on vocals/guitar, Clyde on bass, Ross on drums, and Sam on keys – struck a chord of friendship in their 7th-grade music class and quickly discovered a shared passion for the eccentricities of music. Over the years, their unique synergy fused into a creative outlet, giving birth to the band ‘Puny Offer’. After years of refining their music and playing gigs at local bars, they began to gain a loyal following who appreciated their offbeat and evocative songs. The band is known for their witty banter on stage, tight performances, and the intimate connection they share with their audience.

Title:
“Shadows of Yesterday”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Versus 1]
G D
Just a dream, on a silent night,
Em C
Echoes of past, taking flight.
G D
Reflecting on, what used to be,
Em C
In the shadows of yesterday, we see.
[Chorus]
G D
Shadows of yesterday, oh they linger,
Em C
In the corners of the mind, like a finger.
G D
They sway and dance, in the pale moonlight,
Em C
In the Shadows of yesterday, we ignite
[Versus 2]
G D
Feel the warmth, of memories,
Em C
Flowing like, the river to the seas.
G D
Take a step, let’s walk the lane,
Em C
In the shadows of yesterday, once again.
[Chorus]
G D
Shadows of yesterday, oh they whisper,
Em C
Showing us moments, that made us quiver.
G D
They hold the tales, of love and fight,
Em C
In the Shadows of yesterday, we reunite
[Bridge]
Em C
In the echoes of past, we find treasure,
G D
In the shadows of yesterday, we measure,
Em C
The journey of life, the price we pay,
G D
In the Shadows of yesterday, we sway.
