Backstory:
The band Nutritious Mirror was formed in a humble kitchen of a small apartment in Brooklyn, New York. The core members — lead vocalist and guitarist Alex ‘Al’ Kale, bassist Joey ‘Beans’ Legume, and drummer Felix ‘Fiber’ Grain — all shared a common passion for music and a peculiar interest in nutrition. Having met in a local organic food store, they bonded over their shared interests and decided to channel their love for health-conscious living into music. This was the genesis of Nutritious Mirror — a band that mirrored the nutritious lifestyles of its members.
The band started out performing at local bars and small venues, quickly gaining popularity for their unique blend of music and the peculiarly nutritional names they gave to their songs. Their journey wasn’t without bumps, but it was the challenges along the way that shaped their music and made it even more relatable for their fans. There was always something more than just music in their performances.
