Backstory:
Motionless Island was conceived in 2013, on a quiet beach in Miami, where four friends found solace and connection through their shared love for music. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Morrison, drummer Alex Garcia, bassist Josh Peterson, and keyboardist Mia Davis. The band members cross paths at a local music festival, and there was an instant connection that led them to jam together. The name ‘Motionless Island’ is a representation of their collective spirit, an ode to the tranquility and peace they found in each other’s company amidst the chaos and swift pace of the world.

Their journey was paved with numerous local gigs and constant evolution of their sound. With each passing year, their bond strengthened, and their music matured. Despite facing numerous obstacles, their tenacity and dedication never faded. They took inspiration from their struggles, pouring their souls into their music, creating a unique sound that resonates with their audience.
