Backstory:

Alert Paper was born out of a college dorm room in 2008, where four music-obsessed roommates found a shared love for writing and creating music. Lead singer and guitarist, Isaac Martinez, suggested the name ‘Alert Paper’, a term they used for a last-minute assignment deadline in their college days. Joined by bassist Nathan Williams, drummer Zachary Mitchell, and Allyson Brown on keys and backing vocals, they soon began making waves on the local music scene with their unique sound and riveting performances.

In 2011, they were discovered by a talent scout while playing at a local bar in their hometown of Austin, Texas. The scout was drawn to their unique sound and signed them to his label. Alert Paper rapidly gained fame with their debut album, hitting charts worldwide and gaining a dedicated fanbase. They are now known for their high-energy live shows and their distinctive blend of indie rock with elements of folk and punk.
