Worried Hill

Backstory:
Worried Hill is a band birthed from the musical heart of Nashville, Tennessee. Known for its twangy rhythm and heart-wrenching lyrics, the band came together in 2007 when lead singer and songwriter, Billy Ray Jacobs, met fellow musicians, Jenny “Jazz” Johnson on keys and Charlie “Chuckles” Marshall on drums, while performing at a local open-mic night. The chemistry was undeniable, and they decided to combine their musical talents, resulting in the creation of Worried Hill.

As the years passed, Worried Hill conquered their local scene, performing at every honky-tonk and dive bar in Nashville. Their music, inspired by the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, resonated deeply with the audience. They released their first album in 2012 and have consistently been a staple of the country music scene ever since.

Song Title:
“Whiskey Lullaby on Worried Hill”

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am Em G D
Down at the crossroads, under the moonlight,
Am Em G D
There’s an old man singing the blues.
Am Em G D
His eyes hold stories, his heart holds sorrows,
Am Em G D
His voice, the truth he can’t lose.

(Chorus)
Am Em G D
Oh, he sings a whiskey lullaby on Worried Hill,
Am Em G D
A song for hearts, broken but still.
Am Em G D
He calls to the stars, to the moon still,
Am Em G D
With his whiskey lullaby on Worried Hill.

(Verse 2)
Am Em G D
His guitar weeps, strumming the night air,
Am Em G D
Singing stories of love and despair.
Am Em G D
The melody’s aching, the rhythm’s hopeful,
Am Em G D
In his song, he lays his soul bare.

(Chorus)
Am Em G D
Oh, he plays a whiskey lullaby on Worried Hill,
Am Em G D
A tune for the lost, wandering still.
Am Em G D
He prays to the night, to the quiet chill,
Am Em G D
With his whiskey lullaby on Worried Hill.
