Backstory:
Smooth Spring was formed on a sunny spring day in Austin, Texas in 2013. The founding members, Samuel “Sammy” Johnson and Charles “Charlie” Peterson, met while they were both working at a local record store. They shared a love for music that was soothing, uplifting, and enchanting. Sammy was a guitarist and Charlie was a vocalist. They began by performing impromptu gigs at the back of the record store. Their performances attracted a lot of attention, especially from a local music producer who saw their potential and helped them release their first album in 2015. The band has since grown to include a drummer, a keyboardist and a bassist.

Genre:
Smooth Spring is known for their unique sound that mixes elements of soft rock, pop, and blues. Their music is characterized by smooth vocals, mellow guitar strums, and lyrics that speak of love, life, and hope.
