Backstory:
Made-Up Brain, a band that originated from the small-town charm of Boise, Idaho, comprises of four childhood friends: Charlie (lead vocals and bass), Ethan (lead guitar and backing vocals), Tom (rhythm guitar, piano, and backing vocals) and Jack (drums and percussion). As teenagers, they would gather in Charlie’s basement to play music after school, slowly forming the band’s signature sound and style. They began to perform in local pubs and small music festivals, creating a buzz around town for their unique sound. They were signed by a record label after their performance at the annual Boise Music Festival went viral on social media.
