Masculine Justification

Backstory:
Masculine Justification was formed in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, New York, during the heat of the summer in 2013. The group bonded over their mutual love for music and their shared experiences growing up in the same neighborhood. Their energetic performances and relatable lyrics quickly gained them a local following, leading to their first record deal in 2015.

In true rock and roll fashion, the band’s journey has been a whirlwind of touring, recording, and the inevitable ups and downs. Yet, their commitment to producing authentic music that resonates with their fans has never wavered. Masculine Justification’s story is one of perseverance, friendship, and the pure love of music.

Title:
“In The Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro: Am – F – C – G]

[Verse 1: Am – F – C – G]
In the shadows, we found our truth,
Embracing the darkness, of our youth,
The city lights, our guiding star,
Living dreams, on this borrowed guitar.

[Chorus: Dm – F – C – G]
Running from the dawn, chasing the night,
In the shadows, we learned to fight.
You can’t douse the fire, you can’t cage the light,
In the shadows, we burn so bright.

[Verse 2: Am – F – C – G]
We danced on the edge, of chaos and sound,
In the shadows, ourselves we found.
Barefoot on the stage, hearts in our hands,
Riding the rhythm, of the shifting sands.

[Chorus: Dm – F – C – G]
In the shadows, we found our grace,
In the echoes, of this hallowed place.
Turn up the volume, let the truth ring,
In the shadows, we learned to sing.

[Outro: Am – F – C – G]
In the shadows, we found our truth,
In the echoes, of our misspent youth.

Fan’s Name and Testimonial:
Meet Jenny, a passionate fan of Masculine Justification. “I’m an artist myself, and their music inspires me,” she says. “Their lyrics aren’t just words; they’re poetry filled with raw emotions and powerful messages. ‘In the Shadows’ is a perfect example. It’s about finding your truth in the least expected places, like the shadows, and it’s become my anthem. It’s the song I play when I need an emotional pick-me-up. I’ve been following them since their early days when they were just a small band playing in local bars. Masculine Justification has grown so much, and yet they’ve never lost their authenticity. They’re my favorite band because they remind me to stay true to myself, no matter what.”
