Backstory:

Novel Chicken is a band that was conceived in the vibrant art scene of London’s Bethnal Green in 2013. The band members, including frontman Jules Sinclair, drummer Harry Styles, bassist Oliver “Ollie” Holmes, and keyboardist Zachary “Zach” Pratt, were all childhood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood. They were named Novel Chicken as a nod to their fresh and unique music style, and also due to a shared love of cooking and experimentation in the kitchen. The band quickly gained local fame through their lively performances and offbeat lyrics.

After a chance encounter with a record executive at a local pub’s open mic event, Novel Chicken was offered a record deal by indie label, Mad Hatter Records. Their unusual and eclectic sound, coupled with their fun-loving, quirky personalities, captivated fans across the UK. The band is known for their live performances that are often combined with culinary events, where they cook for their fans, further solidifying the love and bond between Novel Chicken and their fan base.
