Third Objection

Backstory:
Born under the neon lights of Las Vegas, the band Third Objection was formed by childhood friends Chase Hardy, Luke Davis, and Tiffany Klein. They shared the common dream of making it big in the music industry. The trio spent their high school days practicing in their parents’ garages, scribbling song lyrics on the backs of their class notes, and playing at local pubs every chance they got. Their hard work paid off when they were discovered by music producer, Oscar Morgan, during one of their gigs at a dive bar. Under his guidance, their music evolved, and they signed a record deal. The name Third Objection is a nod to their shared passion for justice; they met at a debate team in high-school and wanted their music to be the ‘third objection’ against prejudices and stereotypes in the world.

Title:
“Eclipse of the Heart”

Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Watching as the sun goes down, [D] lost in the twilight’s glow,
[Em] Your silhouette against the light, [C] dancing to and fro.
[G] Dreams and memories intertwining, [D] lost in a moment so brief,
[Em] Under the spell of the crescent moon, [C] we found our relief.

(Chorus)
[G] We’re in the eclipse of the heart, [D] shadows of love torn apart,
[Em] Trapped in the dance of the stars, [C] bearing these emotional scars.
[G] We’re in the eclipse of the heart, [D] love’s game of hit and miss,
[Em] Lost in the secrets of the night, [C] we find our solace in this.

(Verse 2)
[G] As the stars illuminate your face, [D] your eyes hold a cosmic glow,
[Em] We’re caught in this celestial embrace, [C] beneath the night’s indigo.
[G] Whispered words under the moonlight, [D] promises made in haste,
[Em] In the eclipse of the heart, [C] we find love’s bittersweet taste.

(Chorus repeats)

Fan Testimonial:
My name is Sarah Pearson, and without any doubt, Third Objection is my favorite band. Their music isn’t just a bunch of words strung together; it’s a journey. You can really feel the emotion in their songs and I find it so relatable. Their song “Eclipse of the Heart” helped me through a rough break up. The lyrics touched my soul, and I felt like they understood what I was going through. Their music has been the soundtrack to my life for the past few years, and I can’t imagine it any other way. To me, Third Objection isn’t just a band; they’re an emotion.
