Forthright Dance is a collective of four childhood friends who grew up in the bustling city of Chicago. The band members include lead vocalist Haley Jones, guitarist Peter Rodriguez, bassist Zack Meyer, and drummer Sam Taylor. They discovered their shared love for music in high school, where they would often jam together in Peter’s garage, creating tunes that reflected their thoughts and experiences. After school, they decided to turn their passion into a full-fledged career, forming Forthright Dance.
