Waterlogged Bit

Backstory:

Waterlogged Bit all began in the humble city of Portland, Oregon, where four friends found themselves entranced by the rain soaked streets and the sounds of the city. The friends, Samuel, Jack, Adrian, and Chris, were all musicians on their own, each dabbling in different genres and styles. However, they found a shared passion for creating music that captured the gloom and beauty of their hometown, and thus, Waterlogged Bit was born. The band quickly captured the hearts of the locals with their unique sound, and soon their popularity spread beyond the city limits.

The band’s journey hasn’t been without its trials. In 2016, Adrian suffered a serious accident that threatened his ability to play guitar. However, with determination and the support of his bandmates, Adrian recovered and returned to Waterlogged Bit, his passion for their music even stronger than before. Today, Waterlogged Bit continues to create music inspired by the city they love and the experiences they’ve shared.

Title:

“Downpour Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[Em] Night is falling like the rain, [G] on these Portland streets again.
[D] Water reflects the city lights, [Em] as we walk through the endless night.

(Chorus)
[C] Downpour Dreams, [G] flowing with the stream,
[D] Under neon lights, [Em] in the Portland night.
[C] Downpour Dreams, [G] in our hearts, it seems,
[D] The city sings [Em] in a melody of rain.

(Verse 2)
[Em] We’ve journeyed through the highs and lows, [G] like this river that endlessly flows.
[D] We’ve seen the sun, we’ve felt the chill, [Em] but our Downpour Dreams, they linger still.

(Chorus)
[C] Downpour Dreams, [G] flowing with the stream,
[D] Under neon lights, [Em] in the Portland night.
[C] Downpour Dreams, [G] in our hearts, it seems,
[D] The city sings [Em] in a melody of rain.

(Bridge)
[Am] Raindrops on the window pane, [G] echoing our joy and pain,
[D] But through it all, [Em] we’ll dance in the rain.

(Chorus)
[C] Downpour Dreams, [G] flowing with the stream,
[D] Under neon lights, [Em] in the Portland night.
[C] Downpour Dreams, [G] in our hearts, it seems,
[D] The city sings [Em] in a melody of rain.

Emily’s Testimonial:

“I’ve been following Waterlogged Bit since their first gig at a tiny coffee shop downtown. Their music, it’s like they captured the heartbeat of Portland and set it to a melody. It’s raw, it’s passionate, and it’s so incredibly beautiful. Through their music, I’ve felt a deeper connection to my city, and I’ve found comfort in times of personal hardships. Waterlogged Bit isn’t just a band to me, they’re a part of my city, my life, and my heart.”
