Backstory:
Formed in the late 2000s, Yawning Disease consists of four members – lead vocalist Olive, guitarist Remy, bassist Ryder, and drummer Lena. Growing up in the lively town of Manchester, England, they all had a shared love for music. They met at a local pub’s open mic night where they found a common ground in their musical tastes and decided to form the band.

They started performing in small gigs around town, creating a unique sound that quickly won over the local crowd. Their peculiar name, Yawning Disease, originated from a running joke that their music was so infectious, it kept the audience up all night, feeling like they had contracted a “yawning disease.” Despite the challenges and obstacles they faced, they held onto their passion, which eventually led to their breakthrough.
