Backstory:
Regal Sleet formed in the cold and frosty town of Fargo, North Dakota in 2010. The four members, lead vocalist and guitarist Erik Johnson, bassist Tommy Peterson, keyboardist Liza Stewart, and drummer Billy “The Beast” Thompson, met in college and found common ground in their shared love for music and the harsh, beautiful winters of their home town. This shared passion led to the creation of their band, Regal Sleet, a name inspired by the majestic yet slightly melancholic spectacle of a winter sleet storm, which perfectly reflected the band’s unique sound.
Regal Sleet started as a garage band, playing in small local venues and working their way up the ranks of the Fargo music scene. Their break came in 2015 when their song “Frozen Heart” caught the attention of a talent scout from a major record label. Since then, they have become a sensation across the United States, captivating audiences with their delicate balance of soulful lyrics and powerful instrumentals.

Title:
“Underneath the Crystal Sky”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
C G Am Em
She danced the night away, underneath the crystal sky,
F C G
We laughed, we cried, it felt so right,
C G Am Em
Underneath the stars, where our two worlds collide,
F C G
In the sleet and snow, we lost track of time.
(Chorus)
C G Am Em
Oh, underneath the crystal sky,
F C G
No need to ask why,
C G Am Em
We’re alive, we’re in love,
F C G
And the world is ours tonight.
(Verse 2)
C G Am Em
As the moonlight shone on her captivating eyes,
F C G
I knew I was lost, in her, in this winter’s night.
C G Am Em
Her laughter echoed, amidst the silent cries,
F C G
We’re just two souls, under the crystal sky.
(Chorus)
C G Am Em
Oh, underneath the crystal sky,
F C G
No need to ask why,
C G Am Em
We’re alive, we’re in love,
F C G
And the world is ours tonight.
