Backstory:
Villainous Exchange was formed in the dreary town of Silt, Idaho, in 2007 by five disillusioned high school friends who found solace in their shared love for music. The band started off as a garage band, jamming in the basement of their parents’ houses, creating a cacophony of sounds that would later be refined into a unique mix of genres. Their shared passion for comic books, particularly anti-heroes, gave birth to the band’s name – Villainous Exchange, a reflection of their own rebellion against societal norms.
On a fateful night in 2010, talent scout Mark Hellman discovered Villainous Exchange during a small gig in a local bar. Impressed by their unique sound and rebellious spirit, Hellman signed them up with Black Diamond Records. Since then, Villainous Exchange has been catapulting their way into the alternative rock scene, renowned for their intense live performances, thought-provoking lyrics and genre-bending experimentation.

“Bedlam Bells”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[D]Under the city lights, we [G]run and [A]hide,
[D]Chasing shadows in the [G]dead of [A]night,
[G]Our voices, they [A]echo in this [D]concrete jungle,
[G]We are the [A]heroes of our own [D]struggle.
(Chorus)
[D]Hear the Bedlam Bells, they [G]ring, they [A]cry,
[D]Calling out to us, ‘neath the [G]starry [A]sky,
[G]In this chaotic world, we [A]find our [D]fight,
[G]We are the [A]children of the [D]night.
(Verse 2)
[D]In the maze of life, we [G]search, we [A]strive,
[D]Finding solace in the [G]chaos, we [A]thrive,
[G]Our hearts beat [A]loud in this [D]wild symphony,
[G]We are the [A]ones who break [D]free.
(Chorus)
[D]Hear the Bedlam Bells, they [G]ring, they [A]roar,
[D]Echoing our dreams, they [G]open up the [A]door,
[G]In this disordered world, we [A]find our [D]light,
[G]We are the [A]rebels of the [D]night.
