Brown Village

Backstory:
Brown Village was formed in the sleepy, idyllic town of Saddlebrook in southern Oregon. Childhood friends, Jack Rimmer (guitar and vocals), Caleb Brown (drums), and Sam McLeary (bass), found solace in music amidst the rural backdrop. They started playing together in a rundown barn during their high school years, their music echoing the simplicity and charm of their natural surroundings. Inspired by their shared love for folk music, the band was christened ‘Brown Village’, a nod to Caleb’s surname and their earthy, rustic roots.

“Whispering Pine”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Out where the [D] whispering pine trees [Em] sway,
[C] Underneath the [G] pale blue [D] sky,
[G] In my little [D] brown village, [Em] I stay,
[C] With dreams as [G] high as [D] the mountain nigh.

(Chorus)
[G] With the wind in my [D] hair and the [Em] sun in my eyes,
[C] In my brown village, [G] under [D] the clear skies,
[G] Where the river [D] runs free, and the [Em] lark sings high,
[C] That’s where my [G] heart, under [D] the pines, lie.

(Verse 2)
[G] I’ve roamed around, [D] far and wide, [Em]
[C] Searching for a [G] place to [D] abide,
[G] But the hills of [D] home, by the [Em] riverside,
[C] Are where my [G] wandering heart [D] decides to hide.
