Sturdy Vision

Backstory:

Sturdy Vision was born out of a small garage in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. The group, comprised of childhood friends Alex (lead vocals, guitar), Jake (drums) and Mikey (bass), began their musical journey in 2010. They had a mutual adoration for music and an intense thirst to create something new. Each of them brought unique sounds to the table, forged by their diverse musical backgrounds, creating a solid foundation for Sturdy Vision. Battling continuous hard luck, breakups, and financial struggles, the band’s vision and determination never wavered. Over time, they turned their hardships into heavy-hitting lyrics and melodies, giving rise to their distinctive sound.

Fan Testimonial:

“The band’s favorite fan is Emily, a graphic artist from Brooklyn. Emily discovered Sturdy Vision at a small pub and was immediately drawn to their raw energy and authentic sound. She says, “Their music is a reflection of real life, it’s gritty and honest but also hopeful. It’s like they’ve put my own thoughts and experiences into words and melodies. Sturdy Vision is my favorite band because they’re not just musicians, they’re storytellers. Every song is a journey. And they’ve shown me that even under the steel sky, there’s always a sturdy vision to hold onto.” Emily has since designed several of the band’s album covers and gig posters, maintaining a close relationship with the band.”
