Backstory:
Inconsequential Party was formed in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2013, by childhood friends Jesse Carlton and Travis Adams. After years of jamming in their parents’ garages and countless small gigs at local clubs, they were joined by drummer Gina Rodriguez and bassist Jake Simmons in 2016, transforming their sporadic jam sessions into a full-fledged band. The band began to make waves in the local music scene with their seamless blend of rock, blues, and a dash of funk, which led to them winning the local ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition two years running. Their relentless energy and raw talent earned them a loyal following, eventually landing them a record deal that catapulted them onto the national music scene.

“Driftwood Dreams”
Full Song Lyrics:
(VERSE 1)
[G] Driftin’ on a sea of dreams, [D] empty bottles and broken seams,
[Em] Life’s a mirror that’s never clean, [C] just reflections of what we’ve been.
[G] Lost in the tide of life’s grand schemes, [D] we’re just drifters with driftwood dreams.
(CHORUS)
[G] Driftwood dreams, on an endless sea, [D] dreams of what we can be.
[Em] Wandering souls, lost in the stream, [C] living out our driftwood dreams.
(VERSE 2)
[G] Tossed by life’s relentless storms, [D] we’re just shapes that never forms,
[Em] Striving to break the norms, [C] In a world that barely warms.
[G] Yet in the silence, a beacon gleams, [D] guiding us through our driftwood dreams.
[REPEAT CHORUS]
[BRIDGE]
[Am] Driftwood dreams, [Bm] may seem frail and small,
[C] But in their heart, [D] lies the power of all.
[REPEAT CHORUS]

Testimonial: “Inconsequential Party is my favorite band, hands down. There’s just something about their music, the way they blend blues and rock with a touch of funk, it just resonates with me. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s relatable. Their song, ‘Driftwood Dreams’, is my personal anthem. The lyrics speak to the dreamer in all of us, the ones striving to break free from life’s constraints. It’s a perfect soundtrack for the open road. Can’t wait to see them live again!”
