Title:
“Whispers in the Wind”

Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C] I hear your whispers in the wind, [G] a forgotten song we used to sing,
[Am] Memories, like the setting sun, [Em] fade away when the day is done.
[C] Your voice, like the rustling leaves, [G] stirs the silence within me,
[Am] I close my eyes, I see your face, [Em] lost in time, in a distant place.

(Chorus)
[Dm] Whispers in the wind, [G] carry me home again,
[C] Underneath the starlit sky, [Em] where our love will never die.
[Dm] Echoes of the past, [G] in the heartbeats that last,
[C] Hold on to the memories, [Em] lost in the whispers of the breeze.

(Verse 2)
[C] Through the years, we’ve come so far, [G] guided by the northern star,
[Am] We’ve weathered storms, embraced the rain, [Em] found love in the midst of pain.
[C] Our song, carried by the tide, [G] in every sunset, you reside,
[Am] I feel your warmth, I feel your light, [Em] in every whisper of the night.

(Repeat Chorus)

I’ve been following them since their earliest days in Wichita, and they’ve consistently produced songs that capture the human experience in such a profound and beautiful way. “Whispers in the Wind,” for instance, feels like it was written just for me. It’s about love, loss, and the passage of time, themes we all relate to. Their music has been a comfort to me in difficult times, and a celebration in joyful ones.
