Blank Watch

Backstory:

Blank Watch was formed in 2003, in the suburbs of Chicago. The band found its roots in a garage where childhood friends, John “Pete” Peterson (vocals/guitar) and Mike “Mikey” Anderson (bass), decided to put their love for music into action. Joining them were schoolmates, Allie “Thunder” Thompson (drums) and Sarah “Strings” Simmons (lead guitar). Inspired by their shared passion for the 90s grunge scene, they began writing their own music, blending it with modern alternative rock elements. After years of playing in local venues, Blank Watch gained a cult following which eventually led to a record deal with independent label, “Indie Skies.”

Title:

“Mirror Kingdom”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
E / A / D / G / B / A
In the castle of reflections, I found my place,
Built a throne of my yesterdays.
Shadows dancing on the wall, where I trace,
The echoes of our forgotten phrase.

[Chorus]
E / B / C / A
In the mirror kingdom, I found my fate,
In the heart of glass, I dwell.
In the mirror kingdom, I’m never late,
In the echoes of our yesterday’s spell.

[Verse 2]
E / A / D / G / B / A
Through the hallway of illusions, I tread,
Chasing echoes, in the labyrinth of dread.
Looked at the mirror, saw your face, etched in red,
A memory from the time we bled.

[Chorus]
E / B / C / A
In the mirror kingdom, I found my fate,
In the heart of glass, I dwell.
In the mirror kingdom, I’m never late,
In the echoes of our yesterday’s spell.

[Outro]
E / A / D / G / B / A
In the mirror kingdom, we’ll be together never late,
In the heart of glass, we’ll forever dwell,
In the echoes of our yesterday’s spell.
