The band was formed in 2016 by the charismatic vocalist and guitarist, Elliot Foster, and his childhood best friend, Nathaniel ‘Nate’ Parks, a virtuoso drummer. Incredible Gap was born in the alleys of Chicago, Illinois. The band’s name, Supportive Lip, was inspired by a phrase Dex’s grandmother often used, indicating a person who talks a good game but does little to help. Juice felt the name perfectly encapsulated their aim to challenge such people through their music—those who make promises but fail to deliver.
