Backstory:
Buzzing Punishment was formed in the gritty backstreets of Bristol, England, in 2006. The band’s original members, Chazz Hargrove (lead vocals and guitar), Reginald Smith (drums), and Mikey O’Connor (bass guitar), met in a local pub and bonded over their shared love for music and disdain for societal norms. After a spontaneous late-night jam session in Chazz’s garage, they realized they had a unique sound that was too compelling to be confined within four walls. Thus, Buzzing Punishment was born. Their hard-hitting lyrics and energetic performances quickly gained them a local fan base, and they soon began touring the UK’s pub and club scene. Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, the band has managed to maintain their distinctive sound and commitment to shaking up the status quo.
Genre:
Buzzing Punishment falls under the genre of Punk Rock fused with elements of Grunge.

Why and How This Band is Their Favorite as a Testimonial:
“Buzzing Punishment isn’t just a band; they’re a revolution in the form of music. I’ve been a devoted fan since their first gig at The Fleece, back in 2006. Their raw energy, coupled with their defiant lyrics, resonates with the rebel in me. They have this captivating ability to articulate my innermost feelings of dissent in a way that is both poetic and invigorating. I’ve been to all their gigs in the past 15 years, and each time, they manage to outdo themselves. Their recent song, ‘One Too Many Lies,’ is a prime example of their lyrical prowess and musical genius. Buzzing Punishment is more than just my favorite band, they’re my sanctuary in this world of chaos.”
